Final Fantasy developer Square Enix has officially launched its first NFT project. symbiosisChapter 1 of the six-part “Narrative Unlocked NFT Entertainment” series is now available on PC, iOS, and Android.
This follows the initial release of a total of 10,000 character NFTs on November 27, with the remainder to be unlocked as each chapter of the story is released.

What is symbiosis?
Symbiogenic is Square Enix’s first foray into Web3. The game tells the story of an adventure across a series of floating continents, with Discord’s cooperative gameplay key to acquiring items that advance the plot. Player-based action is essential to the experience, and the first six chapters conclude with a world mission where three players determine the future direction of the project.
To enter Symbiogenic, users must link their MetaMask wallet and Discord account to the project website with two-step authentication enabled.
