Airdrops, where projects release and distribute tokens for free to community members’ wallets, have become a key way to encourage participation and loyalty in cryptocurrencies.
Fungible tokens like Ethereum ERC-20 or Solana SPL are typically designed for collective governance, and launch events can provide big payouts for recipients.
However, because airdrops are concentrated in the surrounding area, fungible token That doesn’t mean it can’t be NFT-centric. In fact, some of the largest airdrops of all time, such as APE, ENS, and LOOKS, were made through NFT projects. So don’t blink now. That’s because there are currently a handful of airdrops around the modern NFT scene that have been confirmed just before their arrival.
