Centrifuge and IOSG partner to expand institutional tokenization in Asia and support adoption of on-chain investment products and RWAs.

Tokenized RWA platform Centrifuge announced a strategic partnership with IOSG Ventures to accelerate institutional adoption of tokenized financial products across Asia. The collaboration integrates Centrifuge’s infrastructure for issuing and managing tokenized investment products with the IOSG network of institutional investors, financial institutions and digital asset participants across the region.
This partnership comes as interest in tokenized assets continues to expand across Asia. Regulatory developments in major financial centers, particularly Hong Kong, have contributed to increased institutional exploration of blockchain-based investment products. At the same time, financial institutions in Japan and Korea, along with family offices and licensed investment platforms across the region, are showing increasing interest in tokenization as a means of accessing and distributing traditional financial assets on blockchain networks.
Under the agreement, the two companies plan to support banks, asset managers, and regulated financial institutions looking to bring investment funds and real-world assets on-chain. Centrifuge will provide tokenization technology and fund management infrastructure, while IOSG will provide local expertise, institutional relationships and distribution capabilities.
The plan is expected to focus on expanding access to tokenized investment products and helping institutions navigate the evolving regulatory environment surrounding digital assets. Through IOSG’s presence in markets including Hong Kong, Japan, Korea and Singapore, the partnership aims to introduce Centrifuge’s tokenization solutions to a wider range of organizations evaluating blockchain-based financial products.
Expanding institutional access to tokenized assets across Asia
The company also plans to work with regulators, industry participants and distribution platforms as part of its broader regional strategy. Planned activities include institutional discussions, industry roundtables, and efforts to integrate tokenized investment products into selected platforms connected to the IOSG network.
The announcement builds on the existing relationship between the two organizations, which began in 2021 when IOSG became an early investor in Centrifuge. At the time, tokenization of real assets remained a relatively nascent concept within digital finance. IOSG subsequently participated in Centrifuge’s $15 million funding round in 2024, supporting the continued development of the company’s tokenization and treasury management infrastructure.
With the new partnership, IOSG has further increased its investment exposure to Centrifuge through additional purchases on the open market. The investment firm explained its continued support as a reflection of its confidence in the long-term growth of institutional on-chain finance and the role tokenization can play in modern capital markets.
This partnership reflects a broader trend toward the integration of traditional financial assets and blockchain-based infrastructure. As tokenized assets move beyond experimental use cases and attract more institutional participation, companies providing the underlying technology and distribution networks are increasingly positioning themselves to support the next phase of market development. Centrifuge and IOSG expect this collaboration to contribute to expanding the adoption of tokenized assets across Asia’s evolving financial ecosystem.
