Your land and axis determine your income: Rewards depend on the land rank and the power of the ax called Atia’s Flame. The rarer the axis and the higher the plot, the larger its share of the bAXS pool.

Terrariums V1 is released on June 17th! In 2019, we shared our vision for Land. Where your axes actually lived, the biomes you could walk through, and the worlds that grew around your collection. On June 17, that vision takes its first practical step.
Activate your plot, bring your axes home, and watch your land earn bAXS every hour. The better you optimize your land and axes, the more profit you can make.
Terrariums V1 has been released. This is just the beginning.
Here’s everything you need to know before it goes live.
Terrariums V1 is lightweight and passive by design. Think of it as gamified staking, designed to respect your time. The core loop is simple.
Land activation → Axis allocation → Runium consumption per tick → bAXS earned every hour.
This is the first honest step towards our overall Land vision for 2019. We’re starting small and solid and then growing the world from there. Stay tuned for more active gameplay and features in future updates.
Tick is the hourly heartbeat of the terrarium. Every hour your land spends Loonium, gains bAXS, and continues to move even while you are doing nothing else. If you run out of Lunium, the axis switches to gaining AXP each tick, so the land is always doing something. The better you optimize each tick, the more you can achieve.
Lunium is a new off-chain resource that allows you to power your land and earn bAXS. Your income then scales according to your axial power, called Atia’s Flame. The reward structure works like a bounty board. Each plot type shares a prize pool, and that pool is split between owners based on how many Atia’s Flames they have.
There are two types of lunium.
-
Global Monday I purchased Lunium. You can purchase it from the in-game store starting from $0.99 for 25,000 Runium, and there is no limit to how much you can own. Works on all plots on your account.
-
local monday It’s free. Each plot generates itself slowly, playing for about 5 days to earn a day at full speed, and has a limit per plot.
Charge if you want full speed or let it go at its own pace. Both are fine.

You can also choose which Lunium you want to use first:
-
Global priorities: First, it consumes Global, and when it is used up, it switches to Local.
-
Local priorities: It only consumes the Local and then stops without touching the Global.

Atia’s Flame is your axis power and determines how much bAXS your plot earns. The amount depends on the rarity of the axis. For example, a regular ax carries 5 flames, while a mystic carries 1,000. The rarer the Axis, the more Atia’s Flame they bring, and the more they generate each hour, the more rewards they receive.
Expert Tips: Every plot has a slot limit of 30 axes. To fully optimize the plot, fill those slots with the rarest axes possible and stack as many Atia’s Flames as possible.

Each plot type shares a set bAXS prize pool, split between owners based on which Atia’s Flame holds each tick.
For example, the Arctic plot has a monthly pool of 38,893 bAXS, with all Arctic owners paid out at 54.02 bAXS per tick. Your share depends on the amount of Atia’s Flame your axis brings relative to the total Atia’s Flame of everyone in that plot category.
The formula is:

Unlike Homeland, which has a fixed AXS limit for each plot, Terrariums is grass-based. Your earnings will rise and fall depending on how many axes are active in your category and how well you optimize them. This means that active, well-established plots can earn more than the previous fixed limits allowed. The higher the land tier and the rarer the axe, the bigger your share.
Q: Does Homeland progress transfer to Terrarium?
A: No. We want to give you a fresh start to this new experience.
Q: Can I still earn AXP in Homeland after the game ends?
A: No. Homeland is coming to a close. This means that you will no longer be able to access or play after the specified date. Please claim all rewards remaining in your account by 3PM (PH) on June 17th. See full details here.
Q: Do I need to manually cancel a land entrustment agreement?
no way: no. All Mandate Agreements will automatically be canceled and revoked when Homeland sets on Wednesday, June 17, 2026. The land commission site is also no longer in use at this time.
Q: Can I use delegated axes in my own terrarium?
A: It is not in V1 but will be added in a future update.
Q: Are land items, axis levels, evolved parts, amount of collectible parts, land locations and lands important?
A: Think of V1 as laying the foundation for the future of terrariums. These features are planned for future integration starting with v1.1.
Q: Is Lunium an on-chain token?
A: No. It is an off-chain token that cannot be traded.
Q: Can I purchase Lunium with bAXS?
Answer: Yes. Lunium can be purchased using bAXS, AXS, USDC, and WETH.
Q: If I purchase Lunium with bAXS, is the exchange rate applied?
A: No. There is no exchange rate applied when purchasing Lunium with bAXS.
Q: Can I get bAXS from Terrarium without purchasing Lunium?
Answer: Yes. Your Land NFT has a passive Runium refresh rate. If you decide not to purchase Lunium, your plot will regenerate enough for 5 days to equal one day’s income. This is your local lunium (plot based).
Q: Can I get AXP from Terrarium without Lunium?
Answer: Yes. Axies always gain AXP per tick, even if they don’t have Lunium. But only as long as Atia’s Flame doesn’t contribute to the plot.
Q: Can the purchased Lunium be used only on specific lands, or can it be used on all lands within the same account?
A: It can be used on all lands on the same account. This is your global Lunium (account-wide).
Q: Can local Lunium from one plot be used in another plot?
A: No. Local lunium is only available on the plot that created it. If you want a Lunium that works on all plots, you’ll need to buy Global Lunium.
Q: Where do the profits generated from Lunium go?
A: The initial plan was to pass this directly to the Treasury, but the team is currently exploring alternative ways to use this revenue to directly benefit the community.
Q: What is the total category Atia’s Flame mentioned in the formula?
A: Total Atia’s Flame from all owners in the same plot category.
