Axie is evolving. again. AXS tokens have been powering in-game rewards, secondary market trading, axie evolution, and more for years. It will soon become the reserve currency for the new app token, Bonded AXS (bAXS). Here’s what this means: Here’s how to receive the bAXS airdrop:
bAXS does the same thing as AXS. Use it to promote, evolve, and breed axies, craft and stake new items in App.axie, and more. Over time, we will distribute most of the rewards to bAXS. However, the difference between the two tokens is how they circulate through the Axie economy. bAXS has features to encourage Lunacians to use their tokens within the ecosystem.
Over time, you can earn bAXS through rewards from Axie experience. In the meantime, here’s how you can get it during the upcoming airdrop:

Recently at the Lunacian Lounge, we shared our plans to transition Homeland into a new kind of land-based gameplay called Terrariums. Think of Terrariums as the foundation for Axie Core. It’s where Axie lives, grows, and earns money through minigames, exploration, guilds, territories, accessories, collectibles, and Atia’s Legacy. Our vision is to create an integrated hub where the experiences of the future come together. It will also be the main place to earn bAXS.
We are targeting the release schedule for Terrarium MVP for Q2 2026. Around that time, bAXS will be activated, the bAXS airdrop will be completed, and Terrarium will provide bAXS rewards to players. This is a big moment for Axie. We are going back to our roots by realizing the community’s original dream for the land. bAXS is just the first step.

Pro Tip: To receive more bAXS during Airdrop 2, keep increasing your Axie score and stake the bAXS you received during Airdrop 1. Staked bAXS directly increases the total staking weight for the next snapshot.
