In the midst of chaos: How STEPN and Ubisoft unleashed the Rabbids | by STEPN Official | November 2025
With two major events – BWAHlloween and STEPN GO Raffle Mint – we let these chaotic Rabbids take over social media, apps, and even our design teams. What are the results?
Screams, plungers, too much toilet paper and the most unforgettable sneakers we’ve ever made.
Here’s how it all went down:
BWAHlloween: The Invasion Begins
In true Rabbid fashion, the takeover began without warning.
Our society is flawed. Carrots appeared where they shouldn’t. And by the time we realized what was happening, Rabbid was already in the app.
From October 28th to November 2nd, every Sneaker Mint had a 50% chance to win one of four special edition Halloween Rabbids sneakers.
The lineup is… It’s concerning (but incredibly):
- Walker Rabbid Zombie: Slow, noisy, and decidedly undead. He tried to bite our sneakers.
- Jogger Rabbid Ghost: Hovering around in our codebase and never stopping moaning “BWAAAH”.
- Runner Rabbid Monster: There was too much snow. I didn’t use any of them. hit the wall
- Trainer Rabbid Pumpkin: He put a pumpkin on his head, declared himself the King of STEPN, and started pushing buttons.
Each sneaker comes with spooky Rabbid madness and real in-app utilities. As with all STEPN sneakers, you’ll be rewarded for walking or jogging with them. Just…don’t ask how the monster sees where it’s going.
Raffle Mint: Rabbids from STEPN GO
We thought the Rabbids were gone after Halloween. We were wrong.
They discovered the Raffle Mint tab on mooar.com, clicked on something they shouldn’t have, and inadvertently launched a full-fledged release of 200 animated Genesis sneakers.
From November 10th to 13th, users can enter Raffle Mint for 9,000 GMT per ticket (full refund if not selected).
What chance did they have to win? Some of the wildest sneaker designs we’ve ever animated were all created in direct collaboration with Ubisoft’s Rabbids team.
- Walker: Made entirely out of naked rabbits. Shaking. noisy. somehow… Elegant?
- Jogger: Ambushed in the middle of toilet paper. Continuous rotation. A bit rude.
- Runner: A treadmill with a built-in Rabbid that hasn’t stopped running since Mint Day.
- Genesis: Rabbid’s yellow graffiti tag spray-painted on the keyboard.
It’s all animated. All are available. It’s all nonsense.
