Paul Atkins is missing from the next roundtable panelist on the SEC! Where is he?

The US Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) recently shared a major roundtable plan that focused on encryption custody. While meeting the agenda, companies will focus on the way that a company has to securely possess digital assets, which are also called encryption custody.

But Paul Atkins, a new SEC chair, attracted people’s attention.

There is no trace of Paul Atkins

US President Donald Trump said he appointed Paul Atkins to lead the SEC Committee. Despite being confirmed by the US Senate as the new SEC chairman on April 9.

Naturally, many people expect him to take responsibility in the famous encryption discussion. However, the SEC was listed as the official lead of the event on April 25, approaching the acting chairman Mark Uyeda.

So far, SEC has not made official statements about Atkins starting a new role. And people are curious because his name is not in the event list. Is there a delay or something else is happening?

Despite all the confusion, the Under -on -April 25 SEC meeting is in progress. This event will collect major industry names such as Kraken, Anchorage Digital, Exodus and Fidelity.

They will join the SEC commissioner Hester Peirce and Caroline CRENSHAW to discuss how to securely hold encryption assets, which are known as custody.

Encryption custody is a major concern of the institution that enters the encryption space. PEIRCE, which leads the SEC encryption team, said it is important to organize these rules if encryption is part of the official system.
