Dashjr explained that Inscriptions found a way to circumvent these restrictions by disguising data as program code, creating serious security problems.
The developer said this vulnerability was fixed in Bitcoin Knots version 25.1. However, despite the fix, Bitcoin Core is still vulnerable in the upcoming v26 release. Dashjr has expressed hope for a fix before v27 is released in the coming year.
