Midnight Society Game Studio is closed in a financial struggle

MIDNIGHT SOCIETY, a studio in Deadrop game, confirmed the closure after facing financial difficulties and internal confusion.

The announcement has been a few days since the two -day notice of the company is closed. This closure is co -founder Dr. in mid -2012 on suspicion of inappropriate behavior. Follow the famous start of DisRespect (Guy Beahm).

Why is Midnight Society closed?

The closure of Midnight Society is mainly due to lack of funds. The studio, which hired more than 50 developers at the highest point, struggled to secure enough resources to continue the operation. In the posts shared in X, level designer Brad BOICE said that the team was notified two days before the shutdown.

The initial statement of co -founder Quinn Delhoyo suggested that Deadrop was obtained for release in 2025, but in September 2024, it could not be reduced by employee and more funds. Despite these tasks, the studio continued to play the game until recently.

The problem with the studio was Dr., who was an important figure in promoting Deadrop. Dr. Beahm was fired in Midnight Society in June 2024. Beahm admitted to some claims, but later denied another claim and revised his statement to argue about the exit.

The studio first claimed that his departure was friendly, but it became clear that his removal interfered with both internal mechanics and public images of the studio.

Many believed that the future of the game was uncertain without the involvement of Beahm, and then the closure of the studio only strengthened this doubt.
