Hyperbridge extends token offering deadline, sets token creation event for Q1 2025
Following the successful launch of the mainnet and gateway token bridge, Hyperbridge has announced an extension of the Initial Relay Offering (IRO) deadline to February 28, 2025. This decision was made in response to overwhelming demand for over 52 million of the total 100 tokens. One million supplies have already been sold.
This expansion gives potential participants the opportunity to join the Hyperbridge network for a limited time, with early buyers still eligible for bonuses. As Hyperbridge expands its reach, this expansion provides a final outlet for supporters to secure their place within the ecosystem.
- 50% Bonus Already Claimed: Early participants who joined before the initial deadline secured a 50% token bonus. This demonstrates Hyperbridge’s commitment to rewarding early adoption.
- 15% Bonus Available: There remains a limited opportunity for participants to receive a 15% bonus when purchasing tokens.
“We are thrilled with the tremendous support from the community so far,” said Seun Lanlege, founder of Polytope Labs. “Selling over 52 million tokens is a significant milestone, and with this expansion we are excited to welcome more relayers to the Hyperbridge network ahead of our Q1 token creation event.”
Hyperbridge’s mainnet launch marks a notable step forward in the journey to transform blockchain interoperability. The protocol is integrated with many ecosystems, including Ethereum, Optimism, Arbitrum, Base, BNB Chain, zkVerify, Gnosis, Bifrost, and more.
The Gateway Token Bridge is already live, enabling secure and scalable cross-chain token transfer, messaging, and state queries. These integrations position Hyperbridge as a key contributor to the advancement of cross-chain applications.
Hyperbridge plans to host a token creation event in Q1 2025, where IRO participants will be among the first to receive tokens and have the opportunity to actively participate in the protocol.
With its advanced zk technology and focus on security, Hyperbridge has already seen rapid adoption with integrations across major blockchain ecosystems. The protocol’s hub model ensures scalability and stability, attracting developers, DAOs, and DeFi projects looking for powerful cross-chain solutions.
$BRIDGE utility of Hyperbridge token: Transactions require a minimum BRIDGE token fee. Therefore, transactions such as cross-chain messages, storage queries, and state reads use tokens. Tokens collected from transaction fees are used to provide incentives and rewards to both relayers and block producers. Therefore, the token is planned to have zero inflation. Tokens are also used for governance.
