Arbitrum launches $1 million ‘Trailblazer AI grant program’ to support development of AI agents on the network

Arbitrum, an Ethereum layer 2 scaling solution, has introduced the Trailblazer AI Grant Program, a $1 million initiative to support the development of professional AI agents and other on-chain AI products on the Arbitrum network.

The Trailblazer program seeks to foster AI innovation within the Arbitrum ecosystem by providing grants to builders who create impactful AI products on Arbitrum. The goal is to enrich the ecosystem with new and creative technologies by introducing a wide range of AI agents and applications to the platform.

Grants of up to $10,000 are available for promising AI agent projects that are already launched and feature on-chain integration with Arbitrum. The program focuses on projects that demonstrate innovation, potential to drive user engagement, unique approach, potential for adoption, and alignment with Arbitrum’s vision for decentralized applications.

The program also provides mentorship and guidance from industry experts in addition to financial support. Participants will have access to Arbitrum’s vibrant community of developers and innovators for collaboration and exposure opportunities. By participating, projects can showcase their work to a global audience and gain recognition within the Arbitrum ecosystem.

This initiative targets AI agents and applications that leverage Arbitrum’s decentralized infrastructure to push the boundaries of AI. AI builders can explore a variety of applications, from non-fungible tokens (NFTs) to ERC-20 tokens, and more.

Arbitrum upgrades to ArbOS 32 to improve performance and expand ecosystem features.

Arbitrum is a layer 2 scaling solution designed to improve the scalability and efficiency of the Ethereum network by leveraging rollup technology. This approach increases transaction throughput and reduces costs while maintaining Ethereum’s security features. The Arbitrum ecosystem consists of several layer 2 solutions, including two major active blockchains: Arbitrum One and Arbitrum Nova.

Recently, the platform was successfully upgraded to ArbOS 32 across the Arbitrum One, Nova and Seplia networks. This upgrade is a step toward improving the performance and expanding the functionality of the Arbitrum ecosystem.
