What is Super Dog Days?

Super Doginals is a browser-based side-scrolling fighting game inspired by retro games such as: streets of anger and Fatal anger.

Players choose from three characters, including two Shiba Inu-themed avatars, to explore levels and take on enemies modeled after the popular internet meme character. The storyline follows Kabo and other playable characters as they work to stop the villain Rugstar the Wolf from “stealing the moon.”

The game was developed by an anonymous creator known as Pimax. The game is the latest in the Dogecoin blockchain-based game series and features over 1,500 custom sprite designs, 14 levels, and 35 minutes of original music.

The game supports up to four players with local multiplayer and can be played using a game controller or touchscreen, making it accessible across multiple devices.

Doginals Protocol and Blockchain Integration

Super Doginals operates based on the Doginals protocol, which adapts Bitcoin’s Ordinals protocol to Dogecoin, allowing digital content to be permanently recorded on the blockchain.

This means that both the game’s artwork and code are etched directly onto the Dogecoin blockchain. Recursive inscription technology allows developers to create complex and adaptable applications by chaining multiple inscriptions.

The Doginals protocol allows Pimax to implement updates and patches directly on the blockchain and potentially allow other developers to create their own variations of Super Doginals. The game is also connected to the Mini Doge art project, which explores how blockchain technology can host interactive media and digital art assets.
