Ronin’s popular social gaming platform, Pixels, is gearing up to launch two major events: Barney’s Bazaar and Virtual Wedding.
The first event is a competitive event where players can earn rewards by completing crafting orders, while the second is a virtual wedding that will be live-streamed for the community to attend.
The Barney’s Bazaar event will begin later this month and run for 4-5 days, with the wedding taking place on September 8 and featuring special in-game items for attendees.

Barny’s Bazaar is a peer-to-peer competition that takes place within pixels, focusing on crafting and delivering goods to NPCs.
During the event, players take on the role of employees working for Barney, with the goal of completing orders and earning points to climb the leaderboard and earn rewards.
The event operates on a shift system, with each player working three 5-minute shifts within a 24-hour period to complete as many orders as possible. Orders involve crafting goods in industries such as mining and forestry and delivering them to NPCs at specific counters. Outside of shift hours, players can also craft items in advance to maximize their productivity during active gameplay.
Players who own land or have VIP status within the Pixel have access to additional counters to fulfill orders, allowing them to process more deliveries during their working hours. They can also purchase crafting boosts using $PIXEL to speed up the crafting process.
Event rewards include a prize pool that can reach $60,000 and in-game assets such as land and pets, with winners determined by leaderboard rankings. Players will also have the opportunity to win tickets that can be used for additional rewards in the gacha system.

In addition to the event, there are several major updates planned for the game, including significant adjustments to XP, recipes, and the job board. These changes are aimed at providing a more balanced and rewarding experience, especially for high-level players, with new cooking jobs and other in-game features being fine-tuned.
Pixels will also be hosting a virtual wedding between two players, CloudwhiteNFT and Axielau, on September 8. The wedding will take place at the Pixels Wedding Venue and will be live streamed on YouTube at 21:30 UTC. A pre-wedding event, the Energy Party, will take place at 21:15 UTC. Exclusive in-game costumes, including wedding dresses and suits, will be available for a limited time ahead of the event.
Finally, Pixels is also releasing a mini-game on Telegram featuring Barney. This casual game offers small rewards to players and adds new interactions to the broader Pixels experience.
