Expanding Metaverse – Star Atlas Acquires Assets and Intellectual Property from Multichain Ventures Including Tokes Brand, Introduces In-Game Farming | Star Atlas | Star Atlas
In a strategic move that is marked by a cashless transaction, Star Atlas will integrate Multichain Ventures into the broader Star Atlas Metaverse, including all intellectual property and assets from the Project Tokes initiative. The acquisition signals the introduction of an in-game farming mechanism, allowing players to cultivate exotic plants that, when processed, grant a variety of temporary boosts to their crew. This article provides a detailed overview of the merger and its impact on both ecosystems.
Tokes is the first venture of Multichain Ventures, a pioneering Web 3 firm founded by Michael Wagner, CEO and Founder of Star Atlas. Originally designed to streamline the legal cannabis supply chain with advanced Web 3 technologies for payments and seed-to-sale tracking, Tokes has evolved to align perfectly with the broader ambitions of the Star Atlas ecosystem, which supports the growth and development of numerous projects across a broad spectrum. Recognizing the potential for greater synergy, Michael Wagner explained the strategic alignment:
“Tokes is a project that is very close to my heart. Originally founded in 2016, it was my first foray into web3. With the closure of several opportunities at Multichain Ventures in 2020, a new opportunity opened up with the launch of Star Atlas. It has been my plan from the beginning to find a way to merge these two projects into one. As we enter the fourth year of Star Atlas, I am excited to finally be in a position to make that happen. This is a great opportunity to not only demonstrate my unwavering commitment to the people who supported the project I started, but also pave the way for Star Atlas to embrace new users and further expand the digital economy.”
In consultation with stakeholders from ATMTA, Inc. and Multichain Ventures, Inc., a cashless integration was deemed the optimal approach to leverage these synergies. As a result, ATMTA, the parent company of Star Atlas, will absorb all intellectual property and assets of Multichain Ventures and Project Tokes. The strategic plan includes the decommissioning of the Tokes tokens through asset conversion into a dedicated Star Atlas game asset set and their gradual integration into the Star Atlas ecosystem. This transition plan will be outlined to allow current Tokes holders to seamlessly transfer their assets.
The integration process is designed to be simple and user-friendly. ATMTA is currently building a one-way bridge that will allow Tokes token holders to transfer their assets from the Waves blockchain to the Solana blockchain using a one-way bridge.
The bridge is accessible via: link It will be revealed in a few hours, and will be announced on X/Twitter and Discord once it’s open.
In the weeks following the bridging process, holders of the new Solana Tokes tokens will be able to exchange them for Cultivation Facilities, a new asset class dedicated to the cultivation of exotic plants within the Star Atlas Metaverse. These facilities will introduce new resources to the Star Atlas Metaverse and Pharmaceutical Industry.
After the introduction of this new asset class, and for a period of 6 months thereafter, these facilities will be exclusively available for purchase on the Star Atlas Galactic Marketplace in exchange for Solana Tokes. After this period, the acquisition of farming facilities will be available for sale on the Star Atlas Galactic Marketplace for both ATLAS and USDC, consistent with the way all other in-game assets are purchased. All Tokes exchanged during this process will be permanently burned.
The table below shows the exchange rates between Tokens (TKS) and different tiers of cultivation facilities.
The cultivation facility represents a fundamental component of Star Atlas’ newly established manufacturing division. Pharmaceutical Industry. Initially incorporated through Faction Claims, the facility allows for the cultivation of plants used to produce a variety of substances, including stimulants, pharmaceuticals, and psychotropic drugs. These substances have a variety of beneficial and detrimental effects on crew performance.
From the beginning, these facilities also function as claims for manual resource generation. Factional claim The Star Atlas website section produces essential resources essential to various chemical industry manufacturing recipes, such as carbon, biomass, and exotic new plants.
It is important to note that some cultivated plants are banned by the Peace Council and therefore cannot be transported within the safe zones of Gaul. However, the Black Market, which operates in medium and high risk zones, provides a trade route, and in future SAGE updates, this trade will provide opportunities to gain reputation with underworld factions.
For those operating within the bounds of the law, a variety of legal crafting recipes will also be available, which will enhance crew performance and safety across the many worlds of Gaul.
This integration not only provides ultimate utility to Tokes token holders, but also significantly expands the production and career opportunities within the Star Atlas metaverse, driving engagement and participation within the Tokes community.
