SYKY Connects Digital and Physical Fashion with Apple Vision Pro

Luxury fashion platform SYKY is launching on Apple Vision Pro to bring a new vision of visual fashion to life. Now launched in collaboration with avant-garde Japanese brand Anrealage, the app offers consumers a new way to explore legendary designers and fashion houses.

The SYKY app merges the digital and physical worlds to create an immersive spatial environment where people can experience and be inspired by the artistry of luxury manufacturing and design.

Anrealage’s Innovative Showcase

In the SYKY universe, a glowing arch acts as a portal into a bespoke designer space. The debut showcase features Anrealage and founder Kunihiko Morinaga, who presents an exclusive centerpiece: The Pyramid Dress. This structural, colour-shifting piece draws inspiration from the bespoke Anrealage gown worn by Beyoncé on her Renaissance Tour and designs from the label’s HOME collection.

Creating a dress for the SYKY pyramid was a completely new process for Morinaga, who usually designs in 3D and then later refines his work into a physical product.

Free from the constraints of the real world within the process, he was able to play around with different textures, fabrics, and shapes while working to bring the pyramid dress to life. In other words, the work explores his concept of clothing as a living space or a fluttering structure that can be inhabited.

Moringa said of the experience, “Fashion shows that previously required long trips and the experience of buying clothes in stores can now be viewed simply by installing a device in one’s own room. All constraints of reality have been removed, allowing one to freely experience the exclusivity of fashion in one’s own room or daily life.”

The Future of Fashion: The Convergence of Digital and Physical

The app aims to leverage the powerful hand and eye tracking capabilities of Apple Vision Pro to enhance discovery and showcase storytelling moments at every touchpoint.

Visitors can explore the pyramid dress, walk around it, and interact with various points to learn more about the design, fabric, and creative process involved. They can also go behind the scenes with Morinaga and hear about his techniques, collaborations, and his vision for the future of fashion.

SYKY for Apple Vision Pro debuts with iconic Japanese label Anrealage

Alice Delahunt, CEO and founder of SYKY, is excited about the potential of this new platform. “We believe the fashion industry is entering a period of incredible change as reality merges and the digital fashion experience merges with the physical world,” she said.

SYKY is diving into spatial computing for the first time by partnering with Apple Vision Pro. From there, this first curated showcase becomes a springboard for more curated works in collaboration with the world’s biggest fashion houses. Here, visitors can enter a virtual reality atelier, design space, or a new retail environment to explore custom-made garments.

In short, by launching SYKY on Apple Vision Pro, we are setting the stage for and leading a new era in fashion, where the digital and physical worlds merge at one point in the experience, defining how consumers interact with high fashion.
