• The rune and talisman crafting system has been greatly improved. The new Dynamic Mint Fee reduces mint costs. Mint time has been shortened from 3 days to 24 hours. Scrap replaces Moonshards and SLP during Disenchantment… and more!

• Origins Shop has been restocked. Unlock Mít with gems, purchase other Starter Axie packs at a discount, and check out the new Scrap Shop. WARNING: Scrap cannot be consumed by people or axes.

• Season 8 includes 20 new runes and 10 new talismans, and a balance patch has also been released. What compositions will be meta this season?

maniac. Origins Season 8 is here, and we have a few updates we’d like to share. Over the next 49 days, Origins players will battle for a total of over 81,000 AXS. $780,000 USD+ (at current prices). New runes and charms will shake things up. Weekend missions provide additional rewards. Mitt will make his official debut at the stadium. Season 8 is full of opportunities for those who are fierce enough to fight for him. The moment many Origins players have been waiting for has arrived… will you seize it or will you just let it go?

A total of 81,133 AXS were allocated to leaderboard rewards during Season 8 of Origins. At the end of each Era, the top 30,000 players at Boar level or higher will receive AXS according to the chart above. We’ve also adjusted reward distribution so that mid-tier players receive a larger share of the overall reward pool than in Season 7. For example, a player ranked 20,000th since the S8 era will receive 2.5x. more AXS is better than S7.

Now Saturday and Sunday are the perfect days to get ahead of Origins. Every weekend, players of Wolf rank or higher have the opportunity to participate in bonus missions. This provides additional mAXS rewards and helps keep players sharp throughout the week.

We plan to improve the crafting system in Season 8. Imagine a crafting system that provides utility to less desirable runes and talismans while still encouraging regular crafting and casting. This is our vision, and here are some of the parts we will implement:

For every 5,000 rune and talisman mints, mint fees are assessed and reduced by up to 10%. Runes, talismans and SLPs can now be issued after 24 hours (3 days → 1 day).

Lunacians now receive scrap instead of moonshards and SLP when extracting runes and talismans. The amount of scrap you receive depends on the rarity and type of the item you disenchanted.

Players can then exchange the scrap for items such as sealed selection boxes and crafting utility items. You can also receive scrap as you level up your crafting.

It also reduced production costs while increasing production yield. For example, when using Master, Mystic Moments arrive almost twice as fast as before, while the $SLP cost of basic recipes has been halved. Here’s an overview of what’s new:

• Changed Arcane Moment to 50. (Previously 100)

• Adjust target class creation

  • Gem costs replaced with $SLP

  • The target class ratio has increased significantly.

  • Non-eligible class rates removed

• Non-SLP production adjustments

  • Sealed class runes and talismans can now be crafted along with neutral runes and talismans.

  • No longer includes regular rarity runes and talismans.

  • The cost of moon pieces has increased accordingly.

• SLP production coordination

• All regular R/Cs can no longer be disenchanted.

Check out the Moondusts and Ancient Moonstones updates in the table above! Players now have an increased chance of crafting rarer runes and talismans when using Mooniest. We have also adjusted the balance of Rune Crafting and Charm Crafting when using Ancient Moonstone.

Slot 1 unlocks at level 1.

In order to better progress through the start of the season, along with changes to the crafting system, Moon Shards in Ranked Play will increase significantly at lower tiers.

Calling all collectible Axi owners! Additional AXS rewards are available at the end of all ages except the final one. The highest tier of Collectible Axes you own determines the amount of AXS you can receive from Collectible Chests.

IMPORTANT: To receive a Collectible Chest, the Collectible Ax must be on your account before the Era begins and remain on your account until the Era ends.

For example, if you own a Mystic AXS, you can get between 12.8 and 80 AXS as long as it meets the era criteria outlined in the photo above. This is an estimate only and will vary depending on the number of collector tickets in circulation.

In preparation for Season 8, we’ve restocked the Origins Store! Here are some highlights that are currently live:

• A new starter Axie pack has been added: have

• A scrap shop has been added.

• Pomodoro, Momo, Rouge and Noir starter Axie packs available at a discounted price

• Stickers include animated Olek, Mít and a blast from the past.

• Remove cosmetic gacha boxes until further notice

• Reverts turn time from 35 to 45 seconds.

• New notification modal for juggling rules

• You can now pin stickers for quick casting.

• Addition of Claim All button for mission milestone rewards

• Fixed a bug that resulted in unplayable cards after pressing “Q”.
