The release date is now official. May 15, 2024. We’ve had localized soft launches in the past and, frankly, a confusing launch process, but we’re finally getting some clarity. It is scheduled for a global release on May 15th on both iOS and Android mobile platforms.
Is ‘Guild of Guardians’ worth playing?
Now, information about pre-release games is usually filled with aggressive marketing, advertising, and speculative hype, but I was lucky enough to be asked to try out the limited beta client. Guardian Guild. Moreover, there was no requirement for that access. Didn’t ask for an article or research my thoughts. Therefore my opinions are as unbiased as reasonably possible (always part prejudice).
As a gamer, I’m PC based. That said, I’ve been gaming since consoles, handhelds, and mobiles first came out (I’ve never said that before, I’m an old man). And I’m still getting into mobile games here and there. So you could argue that I’m not the target market for RPGs based on mobile platforms. This is more likely aimed at die-hard mobile gamers. However, I am a huge fan of RPGs, not to mention the use of blockchain in games. (Creepy person). so I Wanted like guardian guildBut I knew there were no guarantees.
I’ve been trying to explain succinctly how much I’ve enjoyed the limited beta version of the game, and this is the best I can do. I jumped on the game as soon as the servers opened, and a few weeks later I was playing and playing with the servers turned off. I woke up the next morning and tried to log in, even though I knew it was no use. If that doesn’t indicate a sticky game, I don’t know what does.
I’ll write a thorough review once the game is fully released, but I’ll summarize my thoughts so far. The gameplay is satisfying, well-paced, and reasonably deep. The progression, crafting, and gameplay surrounding the game are cohesive and motivating. Even though it can’t go very far, the replayability seems to be high, and with extra objectives, rare drops, and maximally difficult skills for players, I can see a dedicated and engaged player base. The bar for blockchain gaming has been too low for too long. guardian guild It’s part of a handful of games that grow it.
Then, shall we play it? If you like mobile RPGs (or RPGs in general), think no further. If you like squad-based roguelites, that’s a no-brainer. Are you wondering if you can make good money through Play-to-Earn, as there are a lot of them on the chain? And I don’t care if I’m brutally honest. It’s a well-developed and enjoyable game with blockchain technology at its core, and we expect it to be a hit, whether you earn it or not. We’ll find out soon, though, because 1 million players have signed up for pre-launch. This is likely to be the next big hit in blockchain gaming, and we are overdue it!
