Polygon (Matic) enters Worldcoin (Coin) competition with the launch of Humanity Protocol

Now, the Polygon blockchain network is one of the top contenders for the Worldcoin (WLD) crypto project.

Polygon (Matic) is a popular Proof-of-Stake (PoS) crypto network primarily known for several blockchain technology-based tools used in the cryptocurrency and non-crypto sectors. Polygon Labs, the developer of Polygon, has a variety of NFTs, Web3, and digital ID protocols. In India, Polygon has already roped in some government agencies to use the Polygon crypto network for issuing certificates and FIR portals.

Polygon Labs is now partnering with Animoca Brands and The Human Institute on a human verification protocol called the Humanity Protocol.

On February 20, 2024, the Humanity Institute announced the release of the protocol, and with this announcement, this new human palm recognition verification project confirmed that the Worldcoin competitor is indeed strong.

The Animoca brand shares happiness through partnerships with Polygon Labs and Humanity Protocol.

It is worth noting that the Human Institute is not an old player in this cryptocurrency space, as there is not enough information available across the digital world. However, it seems that cryptocurrency entrepreneurs recently created this lab to develop the Humanity Protocol.

human verification protocol

In July 2023, the World Coin (WLD) cryptocurrency project entered the cryptocurrency sector with the concept of a human verification protocol at the time. Ethereum’s top cryptocurrency entrepreneur, Vitalik Buterin, praised the WLD cryptocurrency project and said that this type of project is needed in this day and age. Internet world.

WLD’s spherical device records retinal details of human eyes, but with the Humanity Protocol, the Humanity Institute aimed to distinguish between humans and robots using a human palm recognition protocol.

However, although both protocols aim to verify human identity, they are proceeding with different concepts, so there is great potential for collaboration between the two teams.
