SAGE Labs is an early access browser-based open world game that brings real-time gameplay, complete freedom of action, and a realistic economy where players can collect, craft, trade, and thrive, all in Solana.

Another world first for Star Atlas, SAGE Labs is a gameplay release that strengthens the gaming ecosystem’s leadership position in the web3 industry and opens up the Star Atlas economy to users around the world.

SAGE Labs provides a rich economic loop for play-to-earn (P2E) players and web3 gaming enthusiasts looking for immersive, fun and engaging gaming experiences that capture real value for their in-game time and effort. This is made possible by using Star Atlas assets that are completely secure and player-owned and controlled.

SAGE Labs has the most advanced technology stack in blockchain-based web3 gaming, with the entire game logic and game state stored on the blockchain. This release expands integration with other Star Atlas features and the broader Solana ecosystem, including enabling new web3 features in the StarPath Referral Program. We now offer a 10% referral discount to new players and an additional 25% share of purchase value to referrers. .

Coming live on the Solana mainnet soon, fully on-chain gameplay with ultimate freedom sets this title apart from other web3 games. The first fully decentralized economic gaming module allows any developer to use the program and infrastructure to build new tools and even gameplay solutions.

SAGE Labs is a real-world economic system simulation with advanced gameplay mechanics focused on deep space resource extraction and crafting. To create a completely closed loop during this launch phase, this launch comes with an unprecedented $1.5 million Golden Ticket promotion. With a 2D interface designed for economic participation, SAGE Labs is playable in any Solana-supported web browser.

Highly anticipated by the global Star Atlas community, SAGE Labs is fully integrated into the Star Atlas ecosystem. The game enables assets that players can own and purchase in the Galactic Marketplace, providing massive utility to the in-game currency ATLAS and the circular economy. Players can also use the game’s items interchangeably with other current and future gameplay features.

“SAGE Labs advances the entire web3 industry to new heights. It represents the next generation of P2E and offers opportunities and enormous economic potential for players around the world. “At this critical moment for the booming gaming economy, the true winners of exponential growth are the citizens of the Star Atlas metaverse.”

SAGE Labs takes its name from Star Atlas Golden Era (SAGE), a full-featured Star Atlas browser game in the making. Originally developed and used as an econometrics game development tool, this game features real-world economic gameplay in two dimensions. This release will allow players to become familiar with SAGE’s game mechanics and help improve them for future releases.

SAGE Labs is a precursor to an upcoming SAGE release called SAGE: Starbased, which will be the largest on-chain browser game in blockchain history. Starbase will feature full 3D graphics and expanded immersive gameplay, as well as approximately 20 fully on-chain complex Solana programs that form a real-world economic loop.

In the current release, SAGE Labs has a limited UI and fewer gameplay loops. The $1.5 million loot table, which includes Golden Tickets, replaces the closed-loop economy of starbase crafting, upgrading and destruction that players experience in SAGE: Starbased.

SAGE Labs is also the successor to SAGE: Escape Velocity, a record-breaking on-chain space-traveling gameplay feature that became the highest-grossing blockchain game of all time with over 80 million transactions. Learn more about escape velocity here.

SAGE Labs provides new core game logic and enhanced building blocks for all current and future gameplay features, including the new decentralized character management system and the ATLAS transaction fee payment system.

The game features fleet management features including individual ship statistics, resource extraction and cargo transport loops, crafting loops, data runner loops, ship form redemption loops, CSS plots, golden tickets, ATLAS syncs and additional utilities.

All gaming assets are on-chain and dozens of new assets are coming to market. With the game running on the Solana mainnet, players will be able to use their spaceships and other in-game assets in real time.

“This is the beginning of a truly open economy. Players can trade all items – resources, components, items, Golden Tickets – with others, and use in-game currency in a variety of ways, including purchasing in-game items and ships in the Galactic Marketplace and storing them in the ATLAS Locker. . And purchase products. In Star Atlas, even rocks have real, real-world value.”

In SAGE Labs, players use text-based menus to perform resource-consuming tasks and a 2D map to sail This release includes a vast expanse of 51 star systems. Specifically, players can take and abort any action in real time. Full integration with the entire Star Atlas ecosystem will allow players to use game items interchangeably across future versions of Galactic Marketplace, Faction Fleet, Faction Claims, and SAGE.

Players begin their galactic expansion in factions. central space station Located in the starting zone of your chosen Star Atlas faction (MUD, ONI, or Ustur). they go to force star base In another star system As we begin to explore deeper space. From this structure, they can assemble a fleet of spaceships to venture further into space. injection For valuable data (SDU) and resources extract use them crafts. A player’s success in this economic loop will largely depend on their fleet composition. Each ship has unique characteristics and stats, some of which have distinct advantages in the mining, crafting, and extraction economic loop.

adventure – All 51 star systems or sectors are available. research Search based on player fleet and locate in starting and medium risk zones. Fleets can be scanned to retrieve Survey Data Units (SDUs), which are components for crafting Golden Tickets and can also be exchanged for loot rewards. Moving your fleet in any direction along the map consumes varying levels of resources, including fuel, food, and ammunition, and every fleet carries a finite amount. If a fleet’s resources are depleted, the player must pay an ATLAS fee to allow the fleet to be re-created in a starbase, and any loot or resources carried by that fleet are lost.

extraction – Players can then: resource extraction Asteroids are mined within asteroid belts and fields found in various star systems. The further players venture from their faction’s central space station, the rarer and higher quality resources they will find. SAGE Labs has 9 limited raw resources available. Mining consumes two of the ship’s three basic resources: food and ammunition.

produce – Players can: Ship At the Central Space Station or Starbase. Crafting speeds vary depending on the number of ship crew assigned to the task, but players can craft a variety of items and craft additional crafting components for advanced crafting recipes. The crafting loop consists of creating materials, producing components from those materials, and assembling them into increasingly complex and valuable items.

The highly anticipated Golden Ticket event is the pinnacle of the SAGE Labs economic loop. The campaign is divided into two parts.

The first is a redemption program that allows players to pool a large number of crafted assets and submit them for a limited list of Star Atlas ships, claim stakes, or Central Space Station (CSS) land NFTs. The pool totals $300,000 USDC. VWAP. While most players won’t be able to go out and build one of these large-scale assets on their own, it does provide an active labor market for players to participate in. These redemptions specifically require survey data units as input in addition to manufactured assets.

The second part is a large weekly drawing worth $150,000 USDC in VWAP each week for 8 weeks, for a total of $1.2 million in VWAP. In addition to the Star Atlas exchange assets mentioned in the section above, players can also craft an extremely rare item called the Golden Ticket. This is a player-owned blockchain asset that is responsible for creating all craftable items in the game. Although it’s a complicated method, players with Golden Tickets can enter them into weekly drawings where their odds of winning a prize in the drawing are proportional to the number of tickets they submit.

Collect, craft, trade, and prosper – it’s all possible in Solana. Coming soon labs.staratlas.com.
