February 14th Bitfinex Celebrates Launch of TorogozDev’s New Lightning Node (El Salvador)

Road Town, British Virgin Islands –February 14, 2024 – Bitfinex, a leading digital asset trading platform, is pleased to announce the launch of TorogozDev’s new Lightning Node in El Salvador. This launch is a key part of TorogozDev’s innovative program to spread the use and understanding of Bitcoin in El Salvador. This event, sponsored by Bitfinex, also demonstrates the company’s commitment to supporting groundbreaking projects in the field of Bitcoin technical education and job training.
The introduction of TorogozDev’s new Lightning node is a milestone for the project and coincides with El Salvador’s pioneering role in accepting Bitcoin and making it legal in the country in 2021. The introduction of nodes also helps make Bitcoin more accessible. We build a global Bitcoin network and contribute to the security and decentralization of the network.
