Ronin Network has announced the addition of seven new games to the platform, following the launch of its developer support program, Ronin Forge.
The move aims to diversify Ronin’s blockchain gaming offerings and attract a wider audience.
The new games span a variety of genres, including MMORPGs, battle royale shooters, and strategy games.
What games will be added to Ronin?
All successful applicants to Ronin Forge will receive a $50,000 USD grant in $RON and the right to build on the Ronin platform.
These games contribute to the network’s goal of becoming a more inclusive platform for blockchain-based games by introducing a variety of gameplay experiences and mechanics. Below is a summary of upcoming releases.
1. Cambria
Inspired by the classic MMORPG Runescape, Cambria will feature two games: Gold Rush and Dual Arena. Dual Arena is a PvP game where participants duel each other for on-chain stakes, while Gold Rush offers a more traditional MMORPG experience and is currently available for sign-up in early alpha.
2. Pixel Hero Adventure
Pixel Heroes Adventure is a mobile MMORPG that will be released on Android and iOS by the end of this year. The game includes features such as boss battles, loot collection, and item trading. The developers of the game have also released a mini-game called Tap Adventure, which is available on Telegram.
3. Kuroro Wild
The Kuroro Beasts ecosystem expands with three new titles: Kuroro Ranch, Kuroro Beast Brawl, and Kuroro Wilds. Kuroro Ranch is a virtual pet simulation game, while Kuroro Beast Brawl focuses on PvP battles. Kuroro Wilds combines role-playing and collection elements and is scheduled to release an alpha build in the near future.
4. Party Icon
Party Icons is a third-person battle royale game where players compete for tradable in-game items. The game integrates community-driven content and offers a variety of in-game activities.
5. Extreme Bus
Xtremeverse, developed by Glip, is a currently playable anime-themed battle royale game. The game features web3 elements such as $XTREME staking and daily rewards. The development team is planning a Play-to-Airdrop campaign as part of their engagement strategy.
6. Last Odyssey
Last Odyssey is a strategy game inspired by the mechanics of Rise of Kingdoms. Players can build and defend kingdoms, merge collectibles, and stake assets. The game is scheduled to enter open beta before the end of the year.
7. Infomon
Infomon is a browser-based game integrated with the social media platform X. Players can interact with AI-based pets called Infomons, which help manage and filter social media content. The game aims to provide a new approach to interacting with social media while providing a gaming experience.
