Starting today, anyone who owns 5 or more axes can access Project T!
In August, we launched an early prototype of a digital gathering game called Project T. We envisioned this would be a hub for the community to come together, and it did! Over the past few months, we’ve seen community members use Project T to gather with friends to compete in a variety of mini-games and earn leaderboard rewards. Today we’re excited to introduce a new gameplay layer by integrating AXP into the game. We’ve also expanded whitelist access even further. This is an important step toward strengthening the connective tissue between the various Axie games. Here’s what happens in Project T:
AXP: Axie experience points. See the full announcement about AXP here.
Last July, we introduced Axie Experience Points (AXP) to Lunasia. AXP is a stepping stone towards vertical progression and partial evolution, and until now you could only earn it by playing Origins and Sky Smash. Starting today, players can earn up to 1000 AXP per Axie every day from Project T.
Check out the graphic above for more information on the various AXP streams currently underway.
The Axies now have a new AXP stream beyond the Origins arena! It may be difficult for less competitive players and collectible Axes to earn AXP through Origins. That’s why this new stream is important. This is just the beginning. More ways to earn AXP, more opportunities to climb axes on the path to component evolution.
While you can reference Earn In AXP in Project T, you cannot: see Total AXP in game. Go to App.axie to see how much AXP you have.
Wait a minute… According to that graphic, you can get AXP by catching a butterfly?! đˇđˇ
We’ve added two new features to the game: Butterfly Catch and Axie Showdown! The contents are as follows:
In Project T, players can now use nets to catch butterflies and earn AXP! Capturing an endangered animal earns you up to 100 AXP, with the multiplier doubled during special events. You gain 1 AXP each time you use the net, whether you catch a butterfly or not. Here’s how to embrace your inner butterfly hunter.
Step 1: Buy a net from Shinrin near the town board.
Step 2: Approach the butterfly with the net attached
Step 3: Tap âInteractâ when the green exclamation mark appears.
congratulations. You caught a butterfly!
We’re discontinuing the confetti and trivia games and replacing them with a special butterfly collection event offering a double AXP boost. Same time, same place (downtown). Monday 11 AM EST (11 PM PH) and Wednesday 11 PM EST (11 AM PH, Thursday).
Stay tuned for more details on this!
Axie Showdown is an experimental turn-based dice minigame that allows players to earn up to 30 AXP per match. Grab your axe, head to town and enter the showdown hut with your friends. The goal of Axie Showdown is to score 20 victory points or eliminate all opponents. Whichever happens first! Roll the dice and choose whether to heal your axis, attack your opponent, or roll again.
There are two ways to earn victory points. First, Axie, who stands on a tree stump in the center of the arena, gains victory points for each turn she stays there. Second, combinations of three identical numbers award victory points. Three 1s give you 1 point, three 2s give you 2 points, and three 3s give you 3 points. If an axie’s HP reaches 0, the match is lost.
This is a small minigame and Project T is still an early prototype. So, we look forward to your feedback on Axie Showdown!
Congratulations to the BigYak community for winning an exclusive clubhouse in the final round of building voting! The clubhouse has arrived and the interior is being renovated. We’d like to thank everyone for their patience while we build it and will let you know once everything is up and running. In the meantime, don’t forget to vote for the following buildings: Who will take over the clubhouse next week: Mystics, Sumos, BigYaks, or Japan axes?
Today, we open the doors of Project T to the wider axie community! Project T is now available to anyone who owns 5 or more axes.
Make sure the Ronin wallet you use to access Project T has at least 5 axes.
Added live player counter to Project T’s village. That means you can now set records when organizing digital gatherings.
AXP is the first step towards vertical axis progression and component evolution. It is important to be able to use it in a variety of experiences and to have access to different types of axes.
Project T’s AXP integration creates a new AXP source that will appeal to casual, sociable, and cozy gamers and collectors.
Let’s keep pushing.
