November 21st Bitfinex Securities Launches Express Onboarding for El Salvador Residents

November 21, 2024, San Salvador, El Salvador – Bitfinex Securities El Salvador SA de CV, a regulated platform that enables companies to raise capital through the listing of tokenized securities, announced that it has enabled explicit onboarding for Salvadoran citizens residing in El Salvador.
A streamlined onboarding process allows Salvadoran residents to more efficiently access capital raising opportunities and transactions through Bitfinex Securities’ Salvadoran regulator while complying with regulatory KYC requirements.
Salvadorans now only need an official Salvadoran photo ID, tax ID number, biometric photo, residential address, and phone number to open a Bitfinex Securities El Salvador account.

El Salvador passed a landmark digital asset issuance law in January 2023 to promote financial innovation and growth.
